Yin-Yang
The ancient symbol of polarity is represented in the rigidness of steel and delicate nature of mica with this small square light sconce. The shadows of the amber mica, plus the brightness of the silver make this light unique. You’ll experience a welcoming invitation each time you enter the room you choose to accent with this light.
A few years ago Mike created a small copper tabletop with the yin-yang pattern on it also. It was purchased by a customer in New Mexico, along with a large copper dining table. I love the way people make their environment distinct by choosing to be bold and not by following trends. Those trends will come and go, but personal collections and sustainable elements like these have lasting value.
Copper and steel are timeless. Using them in interior design makes a clear design statement about your love for nature. When you add a symbol such as the Yin-Yang to your accents, you express natural rhythms that make up your personal values.
Other symbols add whimsy and curiosity to style as well. Mike has created simple examples of them in more lights and art here.
Is there something you would like to have created in copper or steel to make your personal design statement? Just hit reply and lets get a conversation going, maybe we can help you take it from possibility to reality!
Thanks,
Mike & Julie
