Grandma’s Copper Bowl
The first piece of copper I ever remember owning was this little bowl my Grandmother made in her high school years. She made several beautiful hand-tooled pieces and Mike tells me it was a common part of the curriculum, since copper was such a versatile and necessary part of every day life.
Fast forward a decade or so, and my second significant piece came to me at our wedding.

Copper Pot-Wedding Gift
My good friend and roommate gave us this wonderful copper pot for our wedding, and it has always held a special place in our home decor. I love the warm patina and the rustic look of its construction.
The rest of the story is obvious. We love copper, and we collect it in different ways; Mike’s own creations, and some from other hands. It is the warmth and rustic beauty that draws us both to its casual and natural appeal.
What kind of copper collections do you enjoy?
